2018-19

In the academic year 2018-2019, the essay competition is scheduled to start shortly. The theme for the 2018-19 edition is "Lessons for Modern India from Mahatma Gandhi". and It is targeted to reach out to 300 schools in  10 cities,

The cities are:

1) Thiruvananthapuram 2) Alappuzha 3) Kollam & Kayamkulam 4) Kottayam 5) Pathanamthitta 6) Kannur
7) Kozhikode 8) Malappuram 9) Thrissur 10) Cochin

 

2017-18

The 6 th edition of this competition in the Malayalam language is targeting a participation of 120000 students in 10 cities and 300 schools in Kerala. The theme for this year's competition is "New India @ 70 and your Contribution".

17-18-City level winners are identified and felicitated ,The process of evaluation for selecting National level winners are in progress.

The cities are:

1) Alappuzha 2) Cochin 3) Kollam & Kayamkulam 4) Kottayam 5) Kozhikode 6) Malappuram
7) Pathanamthitta 8) Thiruvananthapuram 9) Thrissur 10) Kannur

 

2016-17

The 5th edition of this competition in the Malayalam language witnessed a participation of 133305 in 9 cities and 270 schools in Kerala.

16-17-The National winners were felicitated on 14th Feb 2019 in an event in New Delhi and met the Hon. President of India. Please visit the Images gallery and winner essay section for more details.

The theme for this year's competition is 'Global Warming and Climate Change'

2015-16

The 4th edition of this competition in the Malayalam language saw a participation of nearly 135289 students across 10 cities and 289 schools in Kerala. The City level winners are being Identified and will be felicitated at Cochin along with winners of Other languages. The theme for 2015-16 competition was "Digital Technology for a Better India".

The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, Mr. N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Tata Sons, and senior leaders from the Tata group, with the national winners of the 2015-16 edition of ‘Tata Building India School Essay Competition’ at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on January 12, 2018.

The national winners of the 2015-16 edition of Tata Building India School Essay Competition got a chance to meet the Honorable President of India, Shri Ramnath Kovind, at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi and got a once in lifetime opportunity to take a tour of the Rashtrapati Bhavan on January 12, 2018.

The young achievers were further felicitated by Mr. Harish Bhat, Brand Custodian, Tata Sons Ltd at a function held on the same day in New Delhi.

2014-15

The 3rd edition of this competition in the Malayalam language nearly 1.2 lakh students participated across 10 cities and 300 schools in Kerala.The theme for 2014-15 competition is "Clean India".National winners have been felicitated on 8 th Dec 2016 at New Delhi.

The City level were felicitated at City level function organized at Cochin

2013-14

The 2nd edition of this competition in the Malayalam language nearly 1.2 lakh students participate across 8 cities and 211 schools in Kerala.

The cities are include:

1) Kochi 2) Kozhikode 3) Alappuzha 4) Thiruvananthapuram 5) Kollam 6) Cherthala
7) Kayamkulam 8) Kottayam

The City level were felicitated at City level function organized at Cochin. The National Level winners for 2013-14 were felicitated on 4 th Dec. 2015 at New Delhi. The theme for 2013-14 competition was "Happy & Prosperous Nation"

 

2012-13

The 1st edition of this competition in the Malayalam language launched in October, 2012. Nearly 1 lakh students participated across 9 cities and 237 schools in Kerala.

The cities are include:

1) Kochi 2) Kozhikode 3) Thrissur 4) Thiruvananthapuram 5) Kollam 6) Cherthala
7) Kayamkulam 8) Kottayam 9) Palakkad 10) Alappuzha

The winners of city level were felicitated in Kochi. The National Level winners for 2012-13 were felicitated on 4 th Dec. 2015 at New Delhi. The theme for 2012-13 competition was "Science & Technology for India"
