2018-19

In the academic year 2018-2019, the essay competition is scheduled to start shortly. The theme for the 2018-19 edition is “Lessons for Modern India from Mahatma Gandhi’. and It is targeted to reach out to 450 schools in  14 cities,

The cities are:

1) Hyderabad 2) Guntur 3) Kurnool 4) Khammam 5) Mahbubnagar 6) Nellore 7) Nalgonda
8) Nizamabad 9) Srikakulam 10) Tirupati 11) Suryapet 12) Vijayawada 13) Visakhapatnam 14) Warangal

 

2017-18

The 6 th edition of this competition in the Telugu language is targeting participation of 1,80,000 students across 14 cities and 450 schools in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The theme for this year's competition is "New India @ 70 and your Contribution".

17-18-City level winners are identified and felicitated ,The process of evaluation for selecting National level winners are in progress.

2016-17

The 5 th edition of this competition in the Telugu language witnessed participation of 196933 students across 14 cities and 450 schools in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana The theme for this year's competition is 'Global Warming and Climate Change'

16-17-The National winners were felicitated on 14th Feb 2019 in an event in New Delhi and met the Hon. President of India. Please visit the Images gallery and winner essay section for more details.

2015-16

The 4th edition of this competition in the Telugu language has touched nearly 176263 lakh students across 14 cities and 450 schools in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The theme for 2015-16 competition is "Digital Technology for a Better India".The city level winners have been identified and felicitated along with other language winners at Hyderabad.

The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, Mr. N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Tata Sons, and senior leaders from the Tata group, with the national winners of the 2015-16 edition of ‘Tata Building India School Essay Competition’ at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on January 12, 2018.

The national winners of the 2015-16 edition of Tata Building India School Essay Competition got a chance to meet the Honorable President of India, Shri Ramnath Kovind, at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi and got a once in lifetime opportunity to take a tour of the Rashtrapati Bhavan on January 12, 2018.

The young achievers were further felicitated by Mr. Harish Bhat, Brand Custodian, Tata Sons Ltd at a function held on the same day in New Delhi.

The 3rd edition of this competition in the Telugu language reached nearly 1.8 lakh students across 14 cities and 450 schools in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The theme for 2014-15 competition was "Clean India".National winners have been felicitated on 8 th Dec 2016 at New Delhi.

The City level winners were felicitated at City level function organized at Hyderabad

The 2nd edition of this competition in the Telugu language nearly 2 lakh students participate across 14 cities and 450 schools in Andhra Pradesh. The City level winners were felicitated at City level functions organized at Hyderabad. The National Level winners for 2013-14 were felicitated on 4 th Dec. and also got a once in a life time opportunity to see and admire the Rashtrapati Bhavan as a special guided tour was arranged for them.

2015 at New Delhi. The theme for 2013-14 competition was "Happy & Prosperous Nation" winner essays are displayed on the website

The 1st edition of this competition in the Telugu language was launched in October 2012. Nearly 1.6 lakh students participate across 12 cities and 400 schools in Andhra Pradesh. The National Level winners for 2012-13 were felicitated on 4 th Dec. 2015 at New Delhi. and also got a once in a life time opportunity to see and admire the Rashtrapati Bhavan as a special guided tour was arranged for them..The theme for 2012-13 competition was "Science & Technology for India"
